ART AND VOCATIONAL COURSES

The experience of learning a language can only be enriched by putting the language to use in a stimulating environment.  Language has always been not only a useful instrument of communication, but also a fundamental vehicle of artistic expression.  Studying a language and becoming immersed in the artistic traditions of the country where it is spoken is a way to experience the life of that country more fully.

We offer a variety of arts and crafts courses from jewelry making to mosaic, stained glass, and more.  Of course Italian is the language of lyric opera and the bel canto of Giuseppe Verdi, Vincenzo Bellini, Gioacchino Rossini and a host of other renowned composers.  In connection with this all important aspect of Italian culture and tradition, interested students also have an opportunity to study vocal and instrumental music.

For lovers of art, design, fashion, graphic arts, film, and photography, Torre di Babele, in collaboration with prestigious institutions like "IED Rome" (Istituto Europeo di Design) and RUFA (Rome University of Fine Arts) offers special courses combining the study of the language with creative disciplines.
